Terms and conditions for Competitions
- These rules apply for all competitions where the prize has a perceived value
- Unless otherwise stated on air all contestants must be over 18 years of age.
- Unless otherwise stated on air all contestants chosen are those who have called the station during the competition period and are chosen at random by the presenter in line with the advertised promotion of the competition.
- The competition will run until the competition has been completed, this will be advertised on air. Fresh Radio reserves the right not to give away any prize if no winner is found.
- Unless otherwise stated on air, there is only one prize per competition and all prizes are offered in good faith. It is recognized that at times genuine mistakes can occur. If a mistake has occurred, then the management, in its sole discretion can either award the prize to the person(s) who in their view was the original winner of the competition or alternately ask the contestants to play again on a ‘head to head' basis. When instances like this occur, Fresh Radio will not provide a runner up prize.
- Prizes offered by Fresh Radio are in most cases provided to the company by a third party or sponsor. At the end of the competition the liability passes from Fresh Radio to the sponsor for the deliverance of the prize offered. If the sponsor or third party thereafter cannot deliver the product or prize due to liquidation or similar, Fresh Radio is not liable for its provision.
- Employees, relatives and partners of Fresh Radio or any of the sponsors of the competition are not eligible to enter any competition.
- Fresh Radio reserves the right to alter or amend these rules at any time and to suspend the competition or cancel the competition at any time.
- Unless otherwise stated on air there is no cash alternative to the advertised prizes and any prize is strictly non-transferable.
- Failure to gain access to competitions due to technical difficulties engaged phone lines or for any other reason is not the responsibility of Fresh Radio.
- Copyright in the on-air broadcast and any photographs or images or audio of winners remains the property of Fresh Radio.
- By entering competitions all contestants agree to be used in publicity, on air promotion and by any means deemed fit for the promotion of the station.
- No person or members of their immediate family who has won a competition which has a deemed value in excess of £500 is permitted to enter another 'major' station promotion for a period of six months.
- No person or members of their immediate family who has won any competition is permitted to enter another station promotion for a period of 30 days.
- Any contestant entering competitions on Fresh Radio who gives false or misleading information will be disqualified and any prizes won will be withdrawn. This includes, but is not limited to, name, address, telephone numbers and details of previously won prizes.
- Fresh Radio's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Weekend Superquiz Terms and Conditions
It's THE most addictive quiz on the radio - the Fresh Radio Superquiz, every Saturday and Sunday Lunchtime!
Jeremy Gartland opens the lines for your questions at ten to midday, and picks out five questions at random from the hat just after twelve. If you know the answer to any one of the five questions, call him and get yourself live on the air! If you answer correctly, you 'knock off' the question you answered, and get to set a brand new question in it's place.
If your question makes it all the way to the end of the quiz without getting knocked off, you will go into the draw on Sunday to win a fabulous meal for FOUR at a top Dales venue!
So make sure you tune in - we guarantee you will be hooked! The Fresh Radio Superquiz... Saturdays and Sundays at midday!
SUPERQUIZ RULES
1. Fresh Radio accepts no responsiblity for the accuracy of any of the questions or answers on the quiz, and no correspondence will be entered into. Quiz participants are asked to ensure they have verified the answers to any questions before they set them.
2. Once a contestant has set a question on the quiz, they may not particpate further in that edition of the quiz.
3. Superquiz questions should have a single answer - multiple part answers are not permitted.
4. If you submit an answer to the Superquiz via text or email we will endeavour to include your text or email in the Superquiz, but are under no obligation to do so.
5. The decision of Fresh Radio in relation to all matters relating to the Superquiz is final.
6. By participating in the quiz, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.
Terms and conditions for Fresh VIPs
Registration as a VIP will give you access to extra pages on the Fresh Website plus access to extra competions exclusive to Fresh VIPs.
Providing you tick the appropriate boxes when registering you agree to us sharing your details with our carefully selected partners (mostly businesses in our local area who run competitions with us).
Further, if you agree to us sending you information, you may from time to time receive useful correspondence from us, such as a copy of our latest newsletter. We will not bombard you with unnecessary and annoying emails!
