Police have just released details of a massive haul of perfume and jewellery, well over a week after a raid on a home in Thirsk.

Burglars got away with watches, rings, bracelets and earrings, along with designer perfume and even an expensive pair of high-heeled shoes.

Brands included Breitling, Swarovski and Christian Dior, with a total value estimated at over nine thousand pounds.

The property, in the Castlegate area, was ransacked during the raid, which took place some time last Sunday night, Monday morning.
