James Wilson

James is The Rock of Fresh Radio - he's been at Fresh for over 10 years and continues to bring you the best local news every day.  Not afraid to say what he thinks, he's also the grumpy one on Fresh Breakfast.  But really he's a charming man (cue... The Smiths!)

James spends his day firstly on Breakfast with Julian and then bringing you the news throughout the morning.

He's passionate about news and that's why we're proud of him - always looking for a good story and his little black book of contacts is so full he's had to employ google apps to look after them!  (we'll bring him into the 21st century if it kills us!).

James loves the Dales and spends every moment he's not at work out and about.

He's also an institution when it comes to quizzes, with regular nights in Barnoldswick, Elslack and Ripon, James is one of the best - if you've never been, try one - its great fun and as you'd expect for a radio pro, very well produced!  He gets tested every morning as Julian turns the tables and asks him the questions in 'Wilson's Wonderful Mind at 10 to 9 - listen in - it's funny when he gets one wrong.....he so hates that!

James also loves his food as can be seen here at Hellifield Gala, enjoying what he describes as the finest chips he's ever tasted!  His face says it all.

He also brushes up well, when he's of to important news meetings - here (on the right) he's all set to meet the council, complete with his agenda and recorder.

James has a busy life - up at 5am to do the news in the morning with Julian and then out and about meeting people from all over the Dales.  He's also famous, or imfamous, for his dead hard quizzes!  Catch James each Monday in Ripon, Tuesday at The Tempest in Elslack and Friday at Rolls Royce in Barlick.
